As we mentioned earlier this week,
Spago oh so
quietly opened (as quiet as Tweeting can be), debuting an extremely sleek, contemporary look throughout the whole space and a new menu. Wolfgang Puck closed his Beverly Hills flagship
earlier this summer for the facelift, stating that it needed to be done to keep up with the times. Here are a few first looks, from the main dining room to the bar and that glorious patio (below). As for the menu, think more small plates (veal tartare, kanpachi crudo), less schnitzel and smoked salmon pizza.
