Add This to Your Weekend: Brunch at Laurel Hardware

This would normally be one of those times we'd say that heading to a hot spot like Laurel Tavern for brunch would be the best time to escape the crowds. But the way this place has been buzzing for dinner since it opened a few months ago, we're not sure that's true. That, and the menu looks pretty fantastic - short, too the point, and featuring things like corn pancakes with bourbon-maple-saffron syrup, snap pea and sofrito scrambles, and fried chicken with pancetta gravy. Add in a couple of great cocktails, and it may be just as crowded as a Friday night.

Still, you want to know that the West Hollywood spot is now open for weekend brunch (Sat.-Sun., 10 AM-3 PM). The bigger decision is where to sit: the tables in front with the wide-open windows to the sidewalk, or in back with views of the leafy courtyard? Good luck. Check out the full current menu below.
