| The Brite Spot |
Weekend brunch is fantastic, it really is, what with its mimosas and Benedicts and thick-cut bacon. But when you just want breakfast - eggs over easy, toast and a cup of joe - often at any time of day, you want a neighborhood gathering spot where the servers are friendly(ish), nothing takes too long (except maybe the wait in some instances) and you can get in and out without breaking the bank - even with an extra side of hashbrowns and some OJ. What you need is a diner or coffee shop, and it doesn't matter if it's new, old, retro, hipster or classic. Here are 10 homegrown favorites around LA. Have one to share? Do tell.
Need some love for S&W Country Diner in Culver City.
