What to Eat During Julia Child Week at Bouchon Bistro

As Julia Child's would-be 100th birthday approaches, several restaurants - and the entire city of Pasadena - have special events planned throughout the month. At Thomas Keller's Bouchon, you can eat the way Julia wanted you to: The chefs created a featuring dishes - salad nicoise, Provencal soup, pork chop with onions, tomatoes and young onions, sole meuniere,  tarte au fraises, and Johnny Cake cobbler - taken directly from her cookbooks like Mastering the Art of French Cooking and Baking With Julia. From August 7-15, get the three-course menu for $55 per person or order the various dishes a la carte. Julia would approve.
