Weekend Planner: Tiki Pop-Up, New Wine Bar and Lollapalooza

Tonight, for one night only Kitsch’n will transform into a tropical tiki lounge complete with a three-course prix fixe dinner for $25 and Polynesian themed cocktails. (773-248-7372).

Eat Like A Rock Star
No tickets for Lollapalooza? Chef Chris Macchia at The Florentine has some rock-star inspired food to comfort your blues. The menu honors some of the headliners' favorite dishes - who knew the The Black Key’s Dan Auerbach has such love for octopus and butter beans with octopus carpaccio with fingerling potatoes, gaeta olives, grape tomatoes and oregano. Now Open
The South Loop welcomes a new wine bar, Square One, from the team behind Waffles. In addition to self-service wine station, craft beer and cocktails, an “adult brunch” will be served each weekend with food from Waffles. (312-786-1750).

Black Sabbath Burger
When Ozzy comes to town the city takes notices, and celebrates his arrival with a meat-filled burger at Lockdown. The “War Pigs” burger is filled with four different types of meat including bacon, angus beef, prosciutto and carnitas. It is available all weekend for $13 (773-451-5625).
