Forever it seemed like the only place to get a sausage and a stein was at The Red Lion in Silver Lake, but over the last few years we've seen a sausage invasion in Los Angeles. It's almost as if burgers became passé - even if burger and beer joints are opening almost weekly now - and hot dog houses proliferated.
