The Ritz-Carlton Waxes Poetic With Restaurant Auden

rendering by Luis Blanc
Above is a rendering of the bar and restaurant slated to debut this fall in the Ritz Carlton, Central Park this fall. Dubbed Auden, the space isn't named after the famous poet, but instead means "old friend." The focus will be on old favorites like oysters Rockefeller made with local and sustainable ingredients. Like the menu, the decor of the 120-seat space keeps things classy - expect leather banquettes and white porcelain dishes. Martini-drinkers will be drawn to the Star Lounge for a nip when the entire enterprise debuts on September 28 (50 Central Park South).
