The Pub at Wegman's Launches in Malvern, King of Prussia and Collegeville

If sometimes you can't help but get overwhelmingly hungry while grocery shopping, you'll be happy to learn that Wegman's has come up with a solution. The Pub at Wegman's has opened so far in three locations (Malvern, King of Prussia and Collegeville) offering American comfort food as well as wine, beer and cocktails. Using ingredients found onsite (it is inside a supermarket after all), the Pub's selections include soups, salads and pizzas, as well as nightly dinner specials (think crabcake sandwich, Australian lamb chops). We can't speak for the ambiance, but given that it's supposed to be inspired by European open-air markets, we're hoping you wouldn't be able to hear the noise from the registers too loudly. Would you want to dine in a full-service restaurant inside a supermarket, or have you? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Yes, my husband and I dine there frequently. The food is always fresh, service is great and you hardly notice you're in a grocery store. We've never had a bad meal there and dishes are priced quite well. They do not have a kids menu, but are very accomodating to our 3 year old. The beers on tap are both popular and local and the staff is knowledgable about beer and wine pairings. I highly reccomend going!

  2. I have dined at all three locations before, most recently King of Prussia. I had the heirloom tomato salad as an appetizer and the curry shrimp salad for my meal. The food is excellent and the service is great as well. I love trying items from the seasonal menu and having the ability to purchase the items from Wegmans to make these meals at home. I would highly recommend visiting for a great meal and drink selections as well!
