Susan Feniger and
STREET exec chef Kajsa Alger are throwing a bash for their recently released
Street Food cookbook, and everyone's invited. You'll nibble on Street fare like tatsutage chicken and tofu, bhel puri, kaya toast and some of her favorite noodle and rice dishes - all featured in the book, of course - plus cocktails and aguas frescas. $50 gets you into the party, $70 gets you the party and the book. Feniger will be there with a pen and a smile ready to sign it. The event takes place on Sunday, August 26, from 5-10 PM. Call the restaurant for tickets (323-201-0500).
