Summer Wednesday Deals at Twenty Manning, Ralic’s and Oyster House

There are still a couple more weeks before Labor Day hits, and several restaurants are offering Wednesday deals to help you make the most of these relatively relaxed August weekdays.

Twenty Manning Grill is bringing the vacation to you with a weekly happy hour that focuses on one faraway destination. From 5-7 PM, head to the Rittenhouse New American to enjoy a three-course tasting menu for just $25. This week Vietnam is the featured locale, so look for lemongrass beef, grilled basil pork loin and coconut forbidden rice pudding. A “What the Pho” cocktail is available as an add-on for $5 (215-731-0900).

Historic Haddonfield, NJ is a dry town, and though that stops restaurateurs from selling alcohol, it doesn’t mean they can’t give it away. That’s exactly what David Ralic is doing for the next two Wednesdays at Ralic’s Steakhouse. Order an entree like dry-aged prime ribeye, seared day boat scallops or rack of lamb, and you’ll receive complimentary pours of the featured vintage of the week. We’ll take free wine over a free lunch anytime, thanks (856-616-1520).

We mentioned the twin lobster dinner deal at Oyster House before, but there aren’t that many weeks left to get your fix of the tasty crawlers. Each Wednesday, guests in the white-tiled Sansom Street dining room can order two steamed lobsters, served with corn on the cob and drawn butter, for $26. It makes a feast for one, or a satisfying snack when you share. Get your lobster while you still can (215-567-7683).
