Summer Friday Lobster Boil, Special Bourbon at Potter's Lounge

Potter's Lounge
Friday is lobster day at the Chicago Firehouse. And lobster day just so happens to be our favorite day of the week. The restaurant is offering a three-course lobster boil from 5 PM to 10:30 PM to close out the week - a 1.5 pound crustacean will be served with boiled red potatoes, corn on the cob and butter, and multiple choices will be offered for appetizer and dessert. New flash - this is the last month of summer, and the deal only goes through August 31.

Or maybe you'd just rather get wasted. Sounds like a plan to us. If you want to wet your whistle with something special, you can check out the new private label Woodford Reserve bourbon being poured at Potter's Lounge and Lockwood Restaurant. The beverage director at those joints worked with the distillery to come up with a label that's available no where else - it can be sipped on the rocks for $12 per glass or in a cocktail for $13.
