Sugar & Plumm. Part sweets shop, chocolate emporium and bistro, guests can expect a mix of savory items (think BBQ pulled pork on waffles with pickled onion slaw; crispy skin salmon with lemon hollandaise and haricot vert) alongside baked goods prepared by pastry mastermind Pichet Ong. Specialties will include macarons, European tarts, cake pops and all the usual suspects - cupcakes, scones, brownies, cookies and more. And because you can't have a dessert focus without chocolate, French chocolatier Thierry Atlan will be creating all-natural line of offerings to round out the menu.
When it comes to decor, designer David Rockwell (A Voce, Nobu, Maialino) naturally took inspiration from French patisseries and bistros, and added some whimsical flair. Lollipop door handles will lead into the restaurant, the floor will be candy colors and a large scale glass mosaic will have a confection-inspired feel. Can't wait to sample the sweets?
