Pizza Wars: Lucifer's Now Heating Up Melrose

If it's too hot in the kitchen...er, we mean on the pizza. Wait, let's start over. Lucifer's, the Los Feliz pizza joint that prides itself on giving it to you really, really hot - and we don't just mean fast from a wood-burning oven - debuted a second location on Melrose, sharing the parking lot with M Cafe and All About the Bread (in the former Pinkberry spot). For the uninitiated, this is where your pie's spice level goes from zero to "blazing," but everything else is basic - regular or gluten-free crust, lots of meat and veg toppings, and vegan options - with some unique offerings like chicken satay pizza, or pumpkin and prosciutto. The space is super casual with vintage movie posters, vintage black-and-white subway tiles, tables made from gas pipes and recycled redwood, and a small outdoor patio. There's free delivery for those within a two-mile radius. [Via Grub Street]
