Wood & Vine chef Gavin Mills is headed south, well at least for his Southern Sundays menus. Every Sunday the chef explores a different Southern region with a special a la carte menu, kicking things off with South Carolina this week. Look for she crab soup, hot smoked oysters, grilled pork chops, Tasso ham biscuits, and the chicken and waffles he's sort of become known for. On Labor Day weekend (Sept. 2), he's throwing a Louisiana-style oyster roast with grilled oysters on the patio, crispy pork belly with roasted peaches, oyster po' boys, and fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. We think a Kentucky Bramble will be in order, too. The Southern Sundays menu is available from 11 AM until close (6280 Hollywood Blvd.; 323-334-3360).
