New York's 8 Best Spanish/Tapas Restaurants

Last week, the debate was all about small plates. Pete Wells took to the NY Times blog to question whether diners are getting their money's worth when they decide to share a bunch of appetizer-size portions. Well, when eating at these eight Spanish joints, we certainly don't feel ripped off. Many of the eateries on our top Spanish list serve their fare tapas-style, and that is fine by us. Click though the slideshow below to see which Spanish/tapas joints are the best, and let us know about your favorites in the comments.

  1. Good list but where is Boqueria?

  2. If you are going to include Sevilla then you must include El Quijote in the Chelsea Hotel. Like Sevilla- old school elegance, service, but food so well done you cannot go wrong. A quarter pound lobster with soup or salad and the house made dressings are great for $23.
