In our recent Fall Dining Guide, we noted that chef Laurent Tourondel is opening a swanky new haunt on the UES dubbed the Arlington Club, but that's not the only project that he has in the works for a post-Labor-Day debut. A branch of his Long Island LT Burger will near Bryant Park sometime in mid-September (we're hearing the aim is to start flipping patties the week of the 10).
Ten different options will be served in the bi-level restaurant - which will come decked out with white marble walls, ironwork and tin ceilings (the space used to house a bank). There will be 120 seats spread across the two levels, and guests will be able to down boozy milkshakes with their meal. 25 draft beers will also be served, and there will be a daily happy hour from 5 to 7 PM (Midtown office workers say 'holla!'). How about that - we just published our list of exciting new burgers to try, and we already have another one to add (8 West 40th Street).
