Kittery of Brooklyn Bringing Lobster Rolls to Smith Street

A reader tipped us off to some new signage going up at the former Diego space in Cobble Hill, and a little poking around discovered this picture of a new lobster roll joint setting up shop in the hood. Dubbed Kittery of Brooklyn, the joint is named after a town in Maine that supposedly has some of the best rolls in the country. Judging by their website, it looks like they'll branch out past the crustacean - their signage promises "coastal cooking from Maine to the Gulf." It's too bad that they didn't open in time for the summer, but New Yorkers are clearly hungry for lobsters all year round (305 Smith St.).
