Italian Wine Dinner and Boston Uncorked Tasting Whet Your Whistle

Petit Robert Central will host the Boston Uncorked wine tasting event September 11.
Settle into a seat on Zebra’s patio September 4 and dine under the stars for an evening of six Italian wines paired with six courses by chef Brendan Pelley. The menu includes house-smoked salmon rillete, squid ink spaghetti and New England bouillabaisse. If it rains, no worries - the party will move indoors (6:30 PM; $110 per person; 508-359-4100).

Boston Uncorked presents the classic tasting dichotomy - Old World (France), New World (USA) wines - when it hosts some of the best of both worlds September 11 at Petit Robert Central in Downtown Crossing. The event will focus on wines from France’s Rhone Valley as well as varietals (Grenache, Syrah) grown in the United States. Bites from chef Eric Bogardus will be served. Discounted parking is available at The Hyatt Regency Parking Garage with certain restrictions. These tickets often go fast, so you have fair warning (7-9 PM; $39 per person; click here to buy tickets).
