First Alcoholic Sandwiches, Now Boozy Empanadas

This week we rounded up some new sandwiches that you should try this summer, and one of them was of particular interest for booze hounds. Well, once you have one of Salume's liquor infused paninis for lunch, you can head to one of Havana Central's locations and have a booze-filled empanada for dessert. The mini-chain has launched a new line of after-dinner pastries that do not bake off the alcoholic content of the hooch. For $9 you get two of the liquor-filled treats and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream - there's one filled with diced pear and Zacapa Premium Dark Aged Rum another with chocolate, banana and Bailey's (that one's dubbed the Drunken Monkey) and another with Chambord, cheese and a vanilla wafer. You know what would make these things even better? Pairing them with a drink.
