With Labor Day just around the corner it can only mean one thing - it's Fall Preview time! And by that we mean it's time for us to look at the hottest restaurant and bar openings, food festivals, and more for the season ahead.   1. Once again Zabat forgets that there is a vast "waste" land filled with people that do not live in the mecca of New York. I really wish that just once the editors would get out of their coccons and go to some place that is not on one of the coasts. Oh wait they did Chicago, Which is almost as bad.

  4. Seeing as how I don't live on the East coast or the West coast I'm not too terribly excited about any of them. I live in "podunk" Dallas so Chicago is out for me too...

  5. agree with headhunter and anon great food exists in the "wasteland " including Tx cities of Dallas and Houston which has an incredible culinary scene getting tired of hearing about NYC LA & SF
    since when are Chicago or Boston of any serious importance in the modern food world?
