Erling Wu Bower, a 30-Under-30 Honoree, Is Now Chef De Cuisine at Avec

Last week we were all surprised to hear that chef Koren Grievison was bowing out from her long time position at Avec. The restaurant has wasted no time in naming her replacement, bringing in Erling Wu Bower of Publican and Publican Quality Meats to work as the new chef de cuisine in the kitchen. He worked at Avec for a number of years before moving over to Publican, and he'll have the chance to introduce some new items to the menu when he gets into the swing of things. We're not surprised at Wu Bower's promotion - he was recently featured on our 30-under-30 list of industry up-and-comers.
