|Beer, beer and more beer|
After having to close for a few months, with the threat of losing the business due to the sale of the Fonda Theater next door, Blue Palms Brewhouse came back with a bang, and celebrates 4 years this Sunday in typical blow-out fashion - lots of carft beer served in the parking lot next door, more on tap in the bar, and grilled meat. A wristband ($45) must be purchased for the 12 5-ounce tasters (10 tastes if you buy the day of the event). The pub is located at 6124 Hollywood Boulevard.
Surf, sand and ... food trucks! Marina del Rey is the latest to welcome a bunch of trucks to its shores every Thursday night from 5-9 PM. Tonight you'll find Bool BBQ, Border Grill, Don Chow, India Jones, Nom Nom, Rollin' Lobster and Sweet Arleen's. It all goes down next to Mother's Beach next to the Jamaica Bay Inn (4175 Admiralty Way). Beach Eats takes place every week through September. For more info, go here.

Admission is $5; free for kids under 30 inches tall. Runs Thursday through Sunday at Sunland Park (8651 Foothill Blvd.).
