Drink Special Launches: Tashan and Sampan

Given vacations, air conditioning bills etc., we understand if you're a bit pressed for cash this summer. Luckily, we're pleased to report that Tashan would like to help. Head to this Modern Indian near the Avenue of the Arts on Monday-Friday from 5-7 PM for half-off all beverage and food selections. Over at Sampan, Michael Schulson has added new seasonal dishes to the menu (think BBQ pork summer roll or corn satay), as well as a couple additional scorpion bowl flavors. If you and your friends are looking to get into trouble, the blueberry lemonade (Absolut Citron vodka, meyer lemon and blueberry) and cucumber margarita (Cuervo silver tequila, aloe vera and lime) can certainly help ($26; 215-732-3501).
