Don't know anything about Nashville Browns, Rotiers, and Fat Mo's are all better. Did you have to buy into this list?
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that the "In and Out" burger is number 2 on the list. It is WAY over rated. Then again maybe #2 is accurate to describe this burger. Whataburger and Steak n Shake are much better fast food burgers than In and Out.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Chris Madrid choice and I also wonder why Louies Lunch burger, 5 Guys, Smashburger, and The Thurminator were left out.
Ambrosia Burger, Nepenthe, Big Sur, CA
ReplyDeleteGreat Burger, even better view!
No Kumas in Chicago? What about beer and burger joint in Miami beach? In and out made the list over these two? You've got to be kidding me...
ReplyDeleteApple Pan in West Los Angeles
ReplyDeleteIn-n-out is so overrated it's ridiculous. Their meat is salty and ground from canner/cutter shoulder clods. Do a blind taste test and even in -n-out livers don't rate their burger very high. It's all marketing hype.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Gott's Roadside in Napa Valley, CA?? One of the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating!
ReplyDeleteHodad's in SD
ReplyDeleteThere's a simply astonishing giant bacon cheeseburger to be had in Silver Spring, MD, at an invisible basement dive called the Quarryhouse. You could easily cross-list it with your guide to "stealth" restaurants; it's one of those beer places with a mile-long menu of imported brews, and there is nothing better to go with those grand old Belgians than a gorgeous great big bacon cheeseburger with ranch dressing dripping out of it and a pile of tater tots.
ReplyDeleteBlake's Lottaburger with several locations in New Mexico is worthy of a special trip and should be included. In-n-out is great--Lottaburger is better!
