Campo Fina: A New All-Day Italian in Healdsburg

Heading up to Healdsburg this summer? You might want to check out Campo Fina, the new all-day spinoff from the nearby Scopa folks in Healdsburg that turns out affordable Italian cichettti (small plates) and wood-oven-fired pizzas complemented by reasonably priced Boot and wine country vinos, locally brewed beer and wine cocktails. The restaurant, which is a more casual family-friendly alternative than Scopa, opened in late June for dinner (la cena) only, but just rolled out its lunch (pranzo) service as well as compact all-day (tutti al giorno) menu.

The narrow dining room features exposed brick walls, red leather booths and reclaimed fixtures that pay homage to its past as a turn-of-the-century saloon, but the real action is outside on the 65-seat covered back patio where diners can hit the massive outdoor bar or try their hand on the bocce court. Reservations not taken for parties less than eight.

Campo Fina, 330 Healdsburg Ave at North St, CA 95448, 707-395-4640, Open daily lunch 11:30-2:30 PM, Dinner 5:30-10 PM and all-day menu served 11:30 AM-10 PM.]
