| Beer dinner at Perilla |
A few bits of news for the boozers in the bunch. First up, beer drinkers will want to scope out Harold Dieterle's
Perilla on Monday, when the first in a series of beer dinners gets underway. The restaurant will offer a four-course menu every Monday through August that features summery family-style offerings like crab salad and fried clams. The dishes will be paired with labels from Narragansset Brewing Company - it's $60 per person for the food and drink and reservations are available from 5:30 PM to 11 PM.
Park Slope drinkers should mark August 18 on their calenders, as that's when Dale Talde's new roadhouse-inspired watering hole Pork Slope is planning to open. They are taking the roadhouse theme seriously - the 18th also happens to be Patrick Swayze's birthday. Should be a pretty fun par-tay.
