$1 Oysters at Oceana, South Brooklyn Pizza Kaput

Looking to hit something up for Sunday Funday without getting way tipsy? Midtown's Oceana is celebrating the third anniversary of their move to 49th Street with $1 oysters. Every Sunday through September, the restaurant will offer bivalves for a buck at the bar, in the cafe or on the patio. Next week, they will also offer $3 beers from next Monday through Friday to keep the celebration going.

The owners of South Brooklyn Pizza may want to take advantage of the cheap oysters. Today, Crain's reports that the company has filed for bankruptcy protection. The ovens are still fired up, but the reportedly owe more than $300K so that's a lot of slices to sell if they are going to get back on their feet.
