TriBeCa's Atera Scores Three Stars From NYTimes

If there ever was a restaurant that became an impossible-to-get reservation after a positive review from the NY Times, it's gotta be Atera. Pete Wells stopped into this tiny TriBeCa shop and majorly sang the praises of Matthew Lightner's cuisine with a three-star review. From what we've heard the tiny eatery was already pretty booked (reservations are taken up to 60 days in advance) and we expect the 18 seats in this joint to be pretty in demand. Witness statements like this:

"[Once] the core of the menu began, something remarkable happened. A kitchen that had seemed willfully strange began to use strangeness as a key to unlock sensations and emotions. Irritation and bafflement yielded to a steady sense of wonder."

Yep. You can read the full review here, and if you want to try your hand at getting a spot, the number is 212-226-1444.
