The Spanish Kitchen has been a fixture on La Cienega for more than 10 years, one of Greg Morris's first restaurant ventures in town. But according to
Eater, he shuttered the Mexican-themed spot two weeks ago. Some people will miss the crab enchiladas and cheap margarita-fueled happy hours. He previously opened and closed Oakfire, a pizza-gastropub joint, across the street, and its very short-lived sibling in Sherman Oaks. He still owns
The Belmont across the way, and
The Oaks Gourmet and the new-ish
Franklin & Company in Hollywood, and says he plans on opening a hotel, taqueria and seafood shack sometime down the line. [via Eater]
