| Sip Wine Bar & Kitchen |
The wine bar, which offers different sized pours, joins a handful of other places (Beacon Hill's Bin 26 Enoteca and the Theater District's Troquet) in the growing trend to give consumers a choice of how much wine they drink, be it two-ounce, six-ounce (half-glass) and 10-ounce (full-glass) pours, as well as bottles of wine.
At Sip, Chris Damian’s Eclectic menu features American favorites (Cobb salad, hanger steak) as well as sushi and maki, and a large selection of small plates such as arancini, calamari and mini Kobe meatballs.
Sip, which features patio seating, is open seven days, and only for dinner to start. Plans are under way to open for lunch in about two weeks. It's currently open 5-10 PM Monday through Thursday; 5-11 PM Friday and Saturday; and 5-9 PM Sunday. The bar is open until 1 AM nightly.
Avery Provision Co., a take-out retail and grocery component adjacent to Sip, opened two weeks ago. Avery sells prepared foods, salads, sandwiches, sushi, coffee, entrees, pastries and more, and is open 8 AM-8 PM.
