Peet's Coffee Bought for $977.6 Mil by German Conglomerate

Bay-Area-based chain Peet's (ranked #4 fast food coffee brand in last year's Zagat Fast Food survey) has been acquired for a whopping $977.6Mil by German conglomerate Joh. A. Benckiser. The company, which is privately-held, owns a variety of consumer brands ranging from Coty (celebrity fragrance magnate), OPI nail polish and another company that owns Jimmy Choo and Bally. So...could this mean that you might see a Peet's kiosk inside or near your local Jimmy Choo shop? The possibilities are endless...
