Patricia Yeo, who opened Moksa in Central Square with much fanfare earlier this year, has left her post as executive chef.

Grub Street reported that Yeo was leaving Boston as well, citing “a corporate position” in Chicago as her motivation, as well as the “creative and administrative differences" she had at her last post. Moksa is an izakaya focused on Asian street food and creative cocktails. Naga nightclub is adjacent to the restaurant.

Jason Tom, the former chef de cuisine, is now manning the kitchen.

Yeo, who is in Las Vegas for the premiere of season four of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters, in which she appears, could not be reached for comment. Season four of Top Chef Masters airs tomorrow night, July 25, on Bravo.
