NYC Loses Nightclub Space As Former Duvet Becomes Envelope Store

The Chelsea space that used to house Duvet has been empty for quite a while, ever since the bed-themed club was shuttered a few years ago after accusations of sexual assault by the staff drew scrutiny from the authorities. A Buzz Agent just noticed that there is a new haunt set to take over the property. You won't be able to get hooked up with bottle service or dancing at the new digs, but you will be able to - wait for it - buy envelopes! And stationery! Envelopper, an online retailer, is set to open a brick-and-mortar location at the storefront as soon as renovations are complete

This little strip of 21st Street used to be a mini club row - Centro-fly and blues club Tramps were both previous tenants of this address. It's unlikely that this space will be converted back to a food and beverage purveyor anytime soon.
