Mighty Quinn's BBQ Coming To Manhattan, Lunch at Rosemary's
Mighty Quinn's BBQ has developed quite the reputation serving up smoky offerings at Smorgasburg, and now Eater has word that they are coming to Manhattan and setting up a permanent shop. The team behind the 'cue is taking over the space that used to house Vandaag - the new restaurant will serve a limited selection of offerings that became popular at the outdoor flea market. Hopefully, the lines won't be as bad once this new joint opens.
Newly opened Rosemary's has has quite the warm welcome after debuting a few weeks back. In fact, it's reached madhouse status very quickly, with hour long waits and a packed bar area (which is standing room only with no stools at the bar tables). Well, if you've been dying to stop by you can hit up the restaurant for its newly launched weekday lunches, which started this week. There will be new menu items like panini with lamb and honey-mint ricotta and salads like asparagi with grilled asparagus and house made mozzarella, egg, bread crumbs & roasted tomatoes. If you want to make a later afternoon of it, the wine bar does stay open leading into dinner so if you want to hang out when it's less crowded this should be a good time to stop by. Breakfast and brunch are also coming soon (212-647-1818).
