Little Baby’s Ice Cream Opens August 3

Little Baby’s Ice Cream has been doling out cups and cones from a fleet of tricycle-powered mobile carts since last year, but next month, the artisanal dessert gets a brick and mortar home with a launch set for 5 PM on Friday, August 3. With an interior that designer Jason Hsu says combines Pee Wee’s Playhouse with ‘80s Italian post-modernism, the Frankford Avenue storefront will sell sundaes, shakes, floats, soda, candy and chips along with scoops of the sweet cream. Recent flavors have been off the charts innovative (think strawberry pink peppercorn and blueberry ginger), so we’re looking forward to what a permanent home and fuller kitchen will bring.
