The LA Street Food Fest Returns to the Rose Bowl on July 21

Back at the Bowl!

If you think tracking down the best food trucks and carts around LA is too difficult, you'll find many and more in one spot at the third annual LA Street Food Fest on July 21. Once again, the day of much eating takes place inside the Rose Bowl, as opposed to outside where it was last year, so you can sprawl out on the green, green grass on the field. That and cold beers make waiting in the long lines much nicer.

As in previous years, some of LA's most popular trucks will be there, including the Grilled Cheese Truck, Kogi, and our food truck of the week, Gravy Train Poutinerie. There will be street eats from Mariscos Jalisco, Antojitos Carmen, Mexicali Tacos and Bigmista's BBQ. And in addition to a few visiting chefs from Baja, Mexico, including Javier Plascenia, local chefs from brick-and-mortar restaurants like Lazy Ox and Short Order will dole out some goodness. The list grows every day, but expect more than 75 food vendors, plus a Singha beer garden, tequila tasting tent, cocktails and more. Tickets are $45, or $65 for VIP (early admission), and only available as pre-sale (none sold at the door). Parking is free - bonus! VIP goes from 3 to 4:30 PM; regular admission is from 5 to 9 PM.
