Joe Coffee Expanding to Philly From NYC

illustir via Flickr
Joe, an artisanal coffee shop with locations around New York City, has decided it's time to give another city its caffeine fix. The chainlet, which is known for its fancy coffee art and roasts that appeal to coffee geeks, just signed its first lease outside of The Big Apple for location in Philly. The new outpost will open on the city's Rittenhouse Square in February or March of next year. That's not the only Philly location that Joe has its eyes on - a second outpost is planned for the area near UPenn and Drexel University. Not details yet about exactly where that one will land, but the projected opening date is next August or September.

  1. Good for Joe's, happy to see they're doing well and expanding. One of the best run small companies in NY.
