Inside Red Market: East London's Pop-Up Food Market

Last weekend saw the reopening of East London's Red Market in a cool graffiti-covered outdoor space just off Old Street. The weather didn't hold up (shocker), but the tasty selection of street food more than made up for the rain.

Favourites included a Mexican/Indian burrito by Chula Fused Foods, sliders by brand-new food truck Bleecker Street Burger and a near perfect panini by Guermetti Italian. We highly recommend starving yourself before you go, to take full advantage of what is on offer.

There is also a DJ, full bar, covered seating area and a sandy beach and hammock in case the sun decides to put in an appearance before September. At the moment they are open on Fridays and Saturdays, but from July 21 the pop-up market will be open every day from noon until midnight until September 2. See our slideshow for a look inside.
