Towne Food & Drink, the splashy
new restaurant on the ground floor of Downtown's WaterMarke Tower, opens for dinner tomorrow night (July 10). This is the "whimsical" New American tavern with chefs and mixologists from
Scarpetta, New York's davidburke & donatella,
Bottega Louie and the
Roger Room behind the stoves and stick, and owned by Armen Shirvanian (
Mi Piace). The menu runs the trendy gamut, with a wood-burning oven turning out flatbreads, whole fish and roasts, plus handmade pastas and homemade Twinkies for dessert. It's dinner only for now, with breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch to follow soon. Check out a shot of the bar after the jump.
