Go for the Gold With Olympics Specials

At Umami Burger, the 'A' in USA stands for 'avocado'
London is 5437.37 miles (thank you, Google) from Los Angeles, but that doesn't mean you can't cheer on our American Olympic hopefuls with a cocktail or two when the festivities kick off on July 27. Or maybe some fish 'n' chips. In addition to gold-flecked martinis, here are a few more specials you'll find around LA and the OC during the games.

The U.S. Women's Olympic Volleyball Team recently visited Umami Burger's new Anaheim location, and all they wanted was some avocado on their burgers. But the chain, as many restaurants do these days, heeds the no-modifications rule, so they created a whole new burger instead. The "Road to London" burger - beef patty, beer cheddar, bacon lardons, lettuce, tomato and crushed avocado - is available at that location through August 12.

Find a special British-inspired menu at Windows Lounge at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills starting this Friday. Nosh on fish 'n' chips or sausage and sage rolls, and sip Pimms Cup and you'll feel like you're right there at Olympic Village. Kind of. The menu will be available through August 12.

And you can drink red, white and blueberry for the Red, White and Blue at any Lazy Dog Cafe location in Southern Calfornia. The seasonal "Mason jar" cocktail - vodka, blueberries, agave, mint and lemon - is available now.
