Flora in Arlington Unveils Its New Dining Room

Newly renovated main dining room at Flora in Arlington
Flora Restaurant, the beloved New American in Arlington, just underwent a facelift. After being closed over the Fourth of July, it opened last week with newly painted chocolate walls in the main dining room, accent lighting and a new chandelier.
The seasonally driven menu, crafted by chef-owner Bob Sargent, is the same as is the wine list. In January, Flora renovated its bar and lounge area, adding high top seating and a TV. “That was a huge controversy,” says Tony Sosa, the general manager, who added that the patrons now tend to stick around at the bar during a Red Sox game.

Flora, housed in a renovated bank, has a private dining room that seats 40. It is open for dinner seven nights a week (781-641-1664).
