Copenhagen's Christian Puglisi Coming to Cook at Bar Tartine

Copenhagen's Christian Puglisi is coming to Bar Tartine
Like El Bulli and Spain before it, the restaurant Noma and Copenhagen in general is suddenly the envy of all chefs. Mere hours ago, the second annual MAD, a food symposium organized by Noma chef René Redzepi, just wrapped up in Copenhagen, attracting the likes of Fergus HendersonFerran Adrià, Marc Veyrat, Wylie Dufresne and our very own Danny Bowien.

Want know what all the fuss about Nordic feed manifesto is all about and why our local chefs are so crazy about it?

Get on the horn and ring up the good folks at Bar Tartine, who will be hosting a one-night only special dinner on July 16 with Christian Puglisi, former sous chef at Noma and currently the chef/owner of Copenhagen's Michelin-starred Relæ and Manfreds Og Vin. Tartine’s kitchen brigade - Nick Balla, Courney Burns and Chad Robertson - plan to collaborate with Puglisi on a special à la carte menu of small shared plates featuring favorite dishes from Puglisi's Copenhagen restaurants, albeit with Bay Area ingredients.

Bar Tartine, 561 Valencia St, July 16, from 5:30-10 PM. Reservations will be taken parties up to four people. All requests must be made by email at info@bartartine.com and should include the number in the party and preferred window of time to be seated. More information can be found on Tartine's website.
