Climbing the SF Food Chain: Tickets on Sale for August Chefs Panel
Ever wonder what it takes to achieve the rank of food celebrity or just open your own restaurant in this town? An upcoming panel of who’s who in the SF restaurant world, organized by Inforum, a division of the Commonwealth Club, will dish on their journeys to the top, share advice on what you’ll need for the climb and explain how they define success in today’s food scene at this upcoming event called Climbing the SF Food Chain. Moderator Valerie Luu, co-founder of the pop-up Rice Paper Scissors will put these burning questions to Craig Stoll (Delfina, Locanda), Anthony Myint (Mission Bowling Club, Mission Chinese Food, Commonwealth), Richie Nakano (Hapa Ramen) and Iso Rabins (ForageSF and Wild Kitchen).
After the panel, attendees will get a chance to chow down on a three + -course menu inspired and created by the panelists and executed by graffEats at Foodlab, San Francisco’s new commissary kitchen and pop-up venue. Tickets are limited and include admission to the panel discussion, plus the all-inclusive pop-up dinner and drinks.
August 8, panel discussion 6 PM at SF Club Office (595 Market St); pop-up dinner 8 PM at the Foodlab (1106 Market Street in the Renoir Hotel), tickets are $20 for the panel only, premium tickets (includes the all-inclusive graffEats dinner and admission to panel) are $75 per person. Tickets available online.
