Bourdain/Lawson Show Picked Up by ABC, Dubbed The Taste

ABC has picked up eight episodes of a new cooking competition hosted by Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain called The Taste. The premise? Home cooks and restaurateurs are given the chance to compete as chefs, divided into teams and mentored to the top by stars like Bourdain and Lawson. Much like hit singing competition The Voice, teams are chosen by team leaders tasting the dishes of the  contestants without knowing their identities. A premiere date for the series has not been announced - stay tuned as more details emerge. [via Eater]
