What time is it? Well, seeing that it's Friday, we think it was booze-thirty about an hour ago. Thirsty folks looking to dive in can head over to
The Water Club, where the
Crow's Nest rooftop bar isn't the only interesting thing going on liquor-wise. Despite being in business for three decades, the restaurant has never had a cocktail list. Whaaaa? Well, they changed that in celebration of their third decade. While the new offerings aren't exactly earth shattering, the classic cocktails like Negronis and sazeracs are affordable at $13 a piece and the list will help you avoid that awkward "uhhhhh" moment when the bartender asks you want you want.
If your answer to that bartender's question is "free booze," you should head over to the
Vault at Pfaff's on Tuesday nights for their series of liquor tastings. The little gatherings feature a brand ambassador pouring out gratis tastes of hooch along with paired appetizers. These little shindigs start at 7 PM. July 17 features Nolet's Gin, July 24 is Renegade Rum and July 31 is Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka.
