Whenever we're in need of a liquid dinner, our go-to watering hole is unquestionably
Orient Express. Located on a quiet stretch of W. 11th Street, you might miss it walking by despite the sign that hangs overhead. But once inside, you'll be charmed by the turn-of-the-century digs, obviously inspired by the famous European train for which the bar was named. Our favorite cocktail definitely is the Danube - a mix of vodka, lime juice, mint and cucumber soda - close to a Moscow Mule, minus the ginger. It's the perfect balance of tart, sweet and aromatic and of course, it's super easy to drink. The bar also offers an array of Mediterranean inspired small plates including a charcuterie board and a selection of flatbreads. Orient Express is located at 325 W. 11th Street.
