If you ever find yourself by Tony's Darts Away, or anywhere in Burbank, really, you need to try hot doughnuts from the Doughnut Hut. The tiny little spot - the sign actually says Doughn-t Hut ("What's Missing?" U! Get it?) - beams like a beacon at night, all glowing and full of sugar and grease. We've seen gaggles of teenage girls, dads and their kids, old folk, young folk, drunk folk and everyone in between stop here at various times of day. We're not really sure which doughnut is best, we just ask for what was made last. We had little restraint over this cakey number, and also a simple cinnamon doughnut with a fluffy you-know-it-can't-be-good-for-you consistency. It's a super cheap thrill and open well into the wee hours.
