The Best Thing We Ate Last Night: Farmers Brat at Landbrot Bakery

Unlike Joey Chestnut, only one hot dog more than satisfied us for the Fourth. Village newcomer Landbrot Bakery serves the best wurst we’ve eaten in ages. The farmer’s brat ($8) is a snappily-seasoned pork and veal sausage, perkily curving within the spot’s signature fresh-baked bread. Served with sauerkraut, horseradish, spicy mustard and plum ketchup, it’s even more tasty during happy hour, Monday-Friday 4-7PM, when it’s only $6.
