Unlike Joey Chestnut, only one hot dog more than satisfied us for the Fourth. Village newcomer
Landbrot Bakery serves the best wurst we’ve eaten in ages. The farmer’s brat ($8) is a snappily-seasoned pork and veal sausage, perkily curving within the spot’s signature fresh-baked bread. Served with sauerkraut, horseradish, spicy mustard and plum ketchup, it’s even more tasty during happy hour, Monday-Friday 4-7PM, when it’s only $6.
