Last week, we had an undercover operative go into some NYC restaurants with dress codes and she found that they really aren't all that enforced (save for Le Bernardin, who looked at her Crocs and said 'nuh-uh'). Well, the '21' Club has decided to switch things up and do away with the jackets-for-men rule, at least during the month of August. The eatery usually closes down for the end of summer, but this year they will keep the lounge in the front of the space open on Monday through Fridays from 4:30 PM to close. You can't wear a potato sac though - the restaurant is encouraging "summer chic." If you do stop by, a limited menu will be served and demos will take place on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 PM.
