Love’s Drumsticks” back to his hometown. ?uest Loves Food - the Roots frontman’s ongoing eats project - will be popping up at the next installment of Night Market, taking place June 28 at Ninth and Washington from 6-10 PM. The monthly summer block party from The Food Trust will still feature a plethora of food trucks, offering inexpensive street food wares at pay-as-you-go prices (most under $5), but access to the Questo-run part of the fest is reservation only.
A $55 ticket brings the fried chicken and other food created by the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon drummer, as well as drinks using Philadelphia Distilling liquors designed by The Farmers’ Cabinet, plus beer from Yards Brewing Co. The Afro will also “curate” the music - which we hope means he’ll be on-site spinning tunes in his signature rocking style - and local art from With Art Philadelphia will be on display. Spring for the $75 tix to add a souvenir cup and Food Trust anniversary T-shirt to your haul. Space for the pop-up is limited, and we have a feeling this one will sell out quickly.
